Your first antenatal visit with Dr. Mikhail Sarofim is an important and exciting opportunity to build a personal connection with your doctor. Scheduled as the longest appointment, often lasting over an hour, this visit allows Dr. Sarofim to thoroughly understand your health history and provide a comprehensive physical examination, which includes an ultrasound to see your growing baby. More than just a medical check-up, this is your chance to get to know Dr. Sarofim, discuss any concerns, and ask all the questions you have about your pregnancy journey. It’s the beginning of a supportive partnership that will help guide you through this special time.

Every pregnancy is unique, and the number of visits may vary from one woman to another. Typically, you will see Dr. Mikhail Sarofim once a month during the first and second trimesters, up until 28 weeks. As your due date approaches, these appointments will become more frequent—shifting to every two weeks after 28 weeks. Starting around 36 weeks, Dr. Sarofim will typically schedule weekly visits to ensure everything is on track for the healthy arrival of your baby. This tailored schedule allows us to closely monitor your progress and adapt to your individual needs throughout your pregnancy journey.

At Eden, our dedicated team is here to support you at every step of your journey. Our practice manager, Allana, is exceptionally knowledgeable and always eager to assist with any questions or concerns you might have. She has direct access to Dr Sarofim and will escalate to him when necessary. If you experience urgent obstetric issues, please contact the delivery suite directly at 07 5598 9040.
