Originally from Canada, Erin moved to Australia in 2002 to complete her Master of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland. Following this, she worked in private practice for many years in Newcastle, NSW before relocating back to the Gold Coast with her family in 2021.
Erin is an experienced physiotherapist who has undertaken extensive post-graduate education in musculoskeletal conditions and in the area of Women’s Health which she is passionate about. She enjoys providing pregnancy and post-natal physiotherapy care as working together with women as they age, through menopause and beyond. Erin is trained in pelvic floor muscle assessment and retraining, treatment for overactive bladder and incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis rectus abdominis muscle rehabilitation, pelvic girdle dysfunction, pregnancy-related joint and muscular pain, as well as treatment of pelvic pain conditions. She truly enjoys empowering women in their health journey using evidence-based treatment and a holistic approach. Erin is a member of the Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Group of the Australian Physiotherapy Association as well as the Women’s Health Training Associates (WHTA).
Outside of work, you will find Erin spending time with her family and friends as well as trail running. She also enjoys road running, strength training, hiking, and time at the beach.
